Goulburn Faces Water Shortage Due To Extended Drought Conditions
GOULBURN, NSW – MAY 11: The town, with a population of 23,000 people, is facing an imminent water crisis as the worsening drought continues. If there is no significant rain by the end of 2005, the town will effectively run out of water, with it’s reservoirs at 10.5% of usable capacity. The local authority has urged residents to re-use water and limit usage to 150 litres per person, per day. ()
