Tulsa, Oklahoma-based Williams is among the largest operators of interstate natural gas pipelines and processing systems in the United states.

Williams operates the Transco system, which has approximately 10,200 miles of pipeline moving natural gas to other businesses, like utility companies and power plants. According to the company’s website, Transco’s “mainline extends nearly 1,800 miles between South Texas and New York City. The system is a major provider of cost-effective natural gas services that reaches U.S. markets in 12 Southeast and Atlantic Seaboard states, as well as international markets.”

In Pennsylvania, Williams is currently engaged in two expansion projects of its Transco system. The Atlantic Sunrise pipeline and the Northeast Supply Enhancement project.
