As Biden administration aims to unwind Trump rollbacks, here’s a look at what to expect

President Trump rolled back more than 170 environmental regulations during his term.

President Joe Biden, who took office Wednesday, plans to roll back some of Trump’s rollbacks.

In this interview with WHYY’s Jennifer Lynn, StateImpact Pennsylvania’s Susan Phillips talks about what to look for going forward.

“For the past four years, it’s important to understand that cities like Philadelphia and some states, like especially California, have really done the lion’s share of work when it comes to tackling climate change without any real federal support,” Phillips says in the interview. But Philly Mayor Jim Kenney’s administration is “hopeful that the Biden administration will be more interested in helping local governments achieve their goals.”
