RigData, a company that provides detailed industry reports, has created an iPhone app for drillers, sales people, landmen, and yes, perhaps even busy Pennsylvania oil and gas inspectors. The application shows the location and status for drill rigs across the country. Users can sort by company, status of well, and geographic locations.
