Fran Drescher Joins Fracking Fray

In case you were wondering,,, Fran Drescher of “Nanny” fame is the latest celebrity to oppose hydraulic fracturing in New York.

A host (flock? gaggle?) of celebs, including Amy Ryan and the guy who plays Dan in Sports Night, cut an anti-fracking ad this summer. The most high-profile celebrity “fractivist” is, of course, Mark Ruffalo, who spoke with StateImpact’s Susan Phillips last week in Dimock.
