Joel is a freelance journalist and radio producer based in Philadelphia. In addition to his contributions to WHYY News, his work has been featured in NPR’s “Here and Now,” WHYY’s “The Pulse,” and PlanPhilly. He is a graduate of the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY and Middlebury College.
