A protester outside the Pennsylvania Convention Center Friday morning.

Update: Police arrested only one person, earlier we reported two arrests.
Philadelphia Police arrested two protesters this morning outside the Pennsylvania Convention Center. Conference attendees heading to the second day of Shale Gas Insight were greeted by a couple dozen protesters who were marching in a circle and chanting “ban fracking now.” Some were telling those entering the Convention Center that they “had blood on their hands.” Earlier, a few demonstrators had sat down in front of the doors, but were removed without arrest. Rabbi Mordechai Liebling, from the Reconstructionist Rabbinical College said he was there to tell industry representatives that fracking would cause cancer.  “Some reacted very violently,” said Liebling, “Some walked away and some engaged me in conversation and wanted to know what the science was.”
