Dept. of Interior Releases New Fracking Rules for Public Lands

The Obama Administration will require drilling companies to get prior approval before fracking on public lands, and reveal the chemicals used in fracking. The Dept. of Interior is releasing the proposed rules today. Initial press reports say they would require companies to disclose the chemicals after a well has been fracked. Environmentalists say those chemicals need to be revealed before any hydro-fracking takes place.
