"Limited" Operations Resume At Damaged Compressor Station

The Department of Environmental Protection has given the OK for limited operations to resume at a Susquehanna County compressor station where an explosion caused a fire last week.
More from the Citizen’s Voice:

State regulators cleared Williams Partners to resume limited operations at a Susquehanna County natural gas compressor station on Monday, just four days after an explosion and fire shut down the facility and tore a hole through the building’s roof.
A Department of Environmental Protection spokeswoman said Williams submitted a detailed report on Monday afternoon that determined “human error” caused the blast, but she said she could not release more specific details of the findings.
The Lathrop compressor station in Springville Township was damaged on March 29 when a buildup of gas ignited in the structure, causing an explosion that rattled homes around the facility but no injuries or environmental harm.
