A Cambria County wind farm

Another wind farm is in the works in Somerset County.
The new 68-turbine facility will be operated by EverPower, who owns the wind farm StateImpact profiled in September.
WJAC has the details:

One of the largest wind farms in Pennsylvania is on its way to being constructed in Somerset County.
The Twin Ridges Wind Farm will be construction in the Big Savage Ridge Area of the county and will span four townships: Southampton, Northampton, Larimer and Greenville. Work is under way to prepare the site and crews have been removing trees and clearing the way for access roads.
In all, 68 turbines will be erected. Once operational, the wind farm will make enough electricity to power 40,000 homes. It will take about 10 people working full-time to help run and maintain, and the project is expected to be complete in about a year.
