"Citizen's Commission" to Hold Hearings on Marcellus Shale

Not to be outdone by Governor Corbett’s Marcellus Shale Advisory Commission, environmental organizations across the state have teamed up to conduct their own hearings on natural gas drilling. The Citizen’s Marcellus Shale Commission wants to hear stories from ordinary Pennsylvanians. They’ve scheduled five hearings across the state including Williamsport, Harrisburg, Towanda and McDonald. A hearing in Philadelphia is scheduled on the evening before the Marcellus Shale Conference. The results of the hearings will be delivered to Governor Corbett, and the legislature.
