An impact fee update: the House began deliberating legislation overhauling Pennsylvania’s natural gas regulations around 8:30 Tuesday night, but ended its session without a final vote on the measure.

The House has an 11 PM curfew. Members can override it on a 2/3 vote, but shortly before 11 o’clock, Speaker Sam Smith announced the chamber would end debate for the night, and pick up deliberations Wednesday.

The Senate passed the measure on a 31–19 vote Tuesday morning. Five Democrats voted for the bill, including two Philadelphia lawmakers who said they did-so due to political pressure.
