Senate Passes Impact Fee On 31–19 Vote

A nat­ural gas drilling impact fee is now one step away from Gov­er­nor Corbett’s desk.

The Sen­ate approved the wide-ranging mea­sure this morn­ing on a 31–19 vote. The House is expected to vote on the bill later today or tomor­row. In his Bud­get Address, Cor­bett told leg­is­la­tors he looks for­ward to sign­ing the bill into law.
