Philadelphia Will Be "Shale Central" During Shale Gas Insight Conference

Governor Corbett speaks to the Shale Gas Insight conference in Philadelphia

Shale Gas Insight is an annual conference sponsored by  the Marcellus Shale Coalition.

The 2012 event takes place September 20 and 21, at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia. Speakers include Governor Tom Corbett, and top executives from drilling companies like Range Resources and XTO.

Like the 2011 conference, the event is generating counter-programming from drilling opponents, who are holding an anti-fracking rally called “Shale Gas Outrage” outside the convention center.
