“Managing Marcellus” On WQED

Scott Detrow / StateImpact Pennsylvania

A well pad on a Tioga County farm

Last week, Pittsburgh public television station WQED gathered reporters from across Pennsylvania to talk about what it’s like to cover the state’s natural gas drilling boom.

I appeared on the program, along with journalists from the Post-Gazette, Patriot-News, Times-Tribune and Wall Street Journal, among other outlets.

You can watch the show here.

Another great conversation.  Highly recommend that everyone take the time to watch.

It’s a illuminating discussion – thank you for posting. I did feel that hosts Michael Bartley and Tonya Caruso glossed over the serious environmental impacts, despite the best efforts of Scott and some of the other panelists. He was anything but the b-word! God save us from pious journalists!   Liz R.
