Meet State Senator Dean Cameron

Senator Dean Cameron (R-Rupert)

Sen. Dean Cameron is a Republican from Rupert, Idaho. He represents Idaho’s District 27, which is Minidoka and Cassia Counties.

Cameron was born in Burley, Idaho on January 20, 1961.  He’s a graduate of Meridian High School and has an Associate’s Degree in political science from Rick’s College (now BYU-Idaho).  Cameron is married to Linda Lanovara and they have three children.

Cameron sells insurance as co-owner of Cameron & Seamons, Inc. Insurance and Investments.  In addition to his service in the legislature, he is a board member of the Minidoka County Chamber of Commerce, board member/president of the National Association of Insurance Advisors and board member of the Rupert Rotary Club.
