Spicewood Beach became known for being the<a href=\"http:\/\/stateimpact.npr.org\/texas\/2012\/01\/31\/when-wells-run-dry-spicewood-beach-is-out-of-water\/\"> first town to run dry during the Texas Drought<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Under an agreement between the LCRA and Corix, starting July 2nd until sometime in December 2013 when the sale is closed, Corix will operate the systems.
