As the Keystone XL pipeline made headlines once again this week, the <em>National Journal<\/em> thought to ask the makers of Keystone beer <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nationaljournal.com\/keystone-xl-or-light--20120119#.TxiZBUi-oK0.twitter\">what they thought of the inadvertent attention suddenly coming their way<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;\u201cThey share the same name, but that\u2019s where the connection ends,\u201d Coors spokesman Colin Wheeler said in an e-mail to\u00a0<em>National Journal<\/em>. \u201cAs for potential impact on the brand, it\u2019s highly unlikely.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The jury is still out on whether a shorter pipeline that doesn\u2019t cross an international border could be called Keystone Light\u2014which is also a beer that has roughly 15 fewer calories than the original Keystone.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.nationaljournal.com\/keystone-xl-or-light--20120119#.TxiZBUi-oK0.twitter\">Read more at the National Journal.<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>One is big news in Washington, DC, the other is big drinkin&#8217; on college campuses.
