That&#8217;s raised concerns about the <a href=\"http:\/\/stateimpact.npr.org\/texas\/2014\/03\/24\/galveston-bay-spill-will-take-economic-ecological-toll\/\">impact on Texas\u2019 oil-dependent economy. <\/a>The\u00a0Coast Guard says parts of the channel have <a href=\"http:\/\/www.texascityyresponse.com\/go\/doc\/6410\/2128514\/Update-6-Texas-City-Y-incident-response-Port-of-Houston-authorized-limited-marine-movement\">been re-opened to limited traffic<\/a>, but the spill is also expected to have an environmental toll.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/stateimpact.npr.org\/texas\/tag\/texas-parks-and-wildlife-department\/\">Texas Parks and Wildlife<\/a> personnel report that the spill occurred at a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.weather.com\/news\/science\/environment\/oil-spill-texas-galveston-bay-20140323\">particularly bad time<\/a> for Gulf wildlife \u2013 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tpwd.state.tx.us\/newsmedia\/releases\/?req=20140324b&amp;nrtype=all&amp;nrspan=2014&amp;nrsearch=\">birds, specifically<\/a>.
