The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.twdb.texas.gov\/index.asp\">Texas Water Development Board<\/a>\u00a0(TWDB) updates those\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/waterdatafortexas.org\/reservoirs\/statewide\">reservoir levels on their online archive<\/a> daily in an easily accessible format.<\/p>\n<p>Now concerned Texans easily <a href=\"http:\/\/waterdatafortexas.org\/groundwater\/\">access information about groundwater levels <\/a>through the TWDB site as well. Groundwater and surface water levels are now both being shared with the public by the TWDB and can be viewed in an interactive map.<\/p>\n<p>Texas voters<a href=\"http:\/\/stateimpact.npr.org\/texas\/2013\/11\/05\/texas-water-fund-passes\/\"> approved Proposition 6 in November<\/a>, which sets up a system to finance projects in the state water plan.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Texans don\u2019t need statistics to tell them what the drought is like \u2013 they can feel it in their bones.
