It all takes <em>energy\u00a0\u2013\u00a0<\/em>but how much exactly?<\/p>\n<p>As the busiest travel days of the year intersect with back-to-back days of excess consumption and consumerism, it&#8217;s a good time to take a step back and assess the energy impact of Thanksgiving.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.me.utexas.edu\/directory\/faculty\/webber\/michael\/\">Michael Webber<\/a>, deputy director of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.energy.utexas.edu\/\">Energy\u00a0Institute<\/a>\u00a0at the University of Texas at Austin, is just the person to do that. He put together a look at the carbon imprint of Thanksgiving, and what he found will likely bring you down a bit.
