We&#8217;re calling it <em>Invasive Species and Why We Love Them With Salt<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Our very own Mose Buchele will lead a panel discussion as part of KUT&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/kut.org\/category\/storyboardaustin\/views-and-brews\/\">Views and Brews: Conversations at the Cactus Cafe<\/a> series. We&#8217;ll have a roundtable with hunter\/gatherer\/cook Jessie Griffiths of <a href=\"http:\/\/daidueaustin.net\/\" target=\"_blank\">Dai Due Austin<\/a>\u00a0and John Davis and Leslie Hartman of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tpwd.state.tx.us\/\" target=\"_blank\">Texas Parks and Wildlife<\/a>. We&#8217;ll be talking feral hog, tiger prawns and even nutria.<\/p>\n<p>Some of the questions on tap: <em>What do we mean by invasive species? How do they get here? What is their impact on the environment when they arrive?<\/em>\u00a0We\u2019ll talk about these questions and also look at the ways we adapt to their presence, from making them into delicacies to hunting them for sport. And you&#8217;ll have the chance to ask questions and add thoughts of your own to the discussion.<\/p>\n<p>And we&#8217;ll be doing it all over a pint (or two) of draft beer.
