Tuesday Session Will Focus On Shell Ethane Cracker

Another public meeting has been scheduled to discuss the ethane processing plant Shell is considering building in Beaver County. As the Tribune-Review reports, the session is scheduled for Tuesday:

Leaders with the Allegheny Conference on Community Development will speak from 7 to 8 p.m. at Central Valley High School’s auditorium. They also will talk about what local communities can do to maximize benefits of what could be a multi-billion-dollar project.
The chemical arm of oil giant Shell has a land deal and could build an ethane processing complex on a site in Center and Potter. Construction could employ up to 10,000 people, then 400 full-time workers could occupy the plant once it’s open, company officials have said.
