About 7,000 people work at American&#8217;s Tulsa maintenance base.<\/p><p><!--more--><\/p><p>Deutsche Bank analyst Mike Linenberg expects the judge to let the airline void its contracts, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thestreet.com\/story\/11591215\/1\/us-airways-rises-as-amr-pilots-reject-contract-deal.html?cm_ven=GOOGLEN\">reports<\/a> The Street&#8217;s Ted Reed. Linenberg said the pilots&#8217; contract rejection brings American and U.S. Airways closer to a <a href=\"http:\/\/stateimpact.npr.org\/oklahoma\/2012\/04\/30\/union-aa-merger-with-us-airways-means-fewer-job-cuts-in-tulsa\/\">merger<\/a>, which AMR officials say they are against until the airline has emerged from bankruptcy restructuring.<\/p><p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.tulsaworld.com\/business\/article.aspx?subjectid=45&articleid=20120621_45_E1_Americ388887\">From Bloomberg<\/a>&#8216;s Mary Schlangenstein:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Members of five work groups represented by the TWU at American approved the company&#8217;s last contract offer on May 15, meaning they aren&#8217;t included in the continued efforts to toss out existing agreements.
