Palmer \/ Library of Congress<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-caption-text\">\n<\/div><p>Aerospace is a big deal in Oklahoma, a point illustrated by census data that lists the state&#8217;s top foreign exports.<\/p><p>Oklahoma exported $319 million in civilian aircraft, engines and parts in 2011 \u2014 the state&#8217;s No. 1 foreign commodity export.<\/p><p>Much of the top 10 list relates to the energy industry \u2014 parts for pumps, machinery for boring, etc. \u2014 but some of Oklahoma&#8217;s other top exports surprised us.<\/p><p>Also interesting, the foreign countries that buy most of Oklahoma&#8217;s exports.<\/p><p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Exports of of automatic data processing storage units has exploded, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.census.gov\/foreign-trade\/statistics\/state\/data\/ok.html#ctry\">data<\/a> show. Oklahoma exported $38 million worth in 2010.
