The statewide unemployment rate fell to 6.0 percent in February, data<\/a> from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics show.<\/p>

This is the lowest the state\u2019s jobless rate has been since 5.9 percent recorded in May 2011.<\/p>\n

Oklahoma\u2019s unemployment rate was lower than all its neighboring states.<\/p>

The lowest unemployment rate, 3.1 percent, was recorded in North Dakota. Nevada topped the list with 12.3 percent, the data show.<\/p>\n

Forty-nine states and the District of Columbia had unemployment rate decreases compared with a year ago at the same time, while only New York saw a rate increase, reports<\/a> the Tulsa World<\/em>.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
