He\u2019s a major Republican donor, and he served as candidate Mitt Romney\u2019s chief energy adviser during the 2012 presidential race.<\/p><p>Attorney General Pruitt is a big player in state energy and environmental policy, and he\u2019s played a major role in <a href=\"http:\/\/stateimpact.npr.org\/oklahoma\/tag\/tarrant-vs-herrmann\/\">Oklahoma\u2019s Supreme Court water case<\/a> and ongoing tribal water dispute.
