Research by University of Oklahoma\u00a0seismologist\u00a0Katie Keranen shows that <a href=\"http:\/\/stateimpact.npr.org\/oklahoma\/tag\/earthquakes\/\">disposal wells<\/a> used by the oil and gas industry likely triggered the 2011 quake.<\/p><p>&#8220;Today&#8217;s earthquake is near the first rupture in the November 2011 earthquake sequence near Prague, and is likely on one of the faults associated with that earlier sequence,&#8221; she says. &#8220;The lack of an active local network precludes a precise determination of depth or correlation to a specific fault segment.&#8221;<\/p><p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" style=\"font-size: 14px;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/fusiontables\/embedviz?viz=MAP&q=select+col4+from+1tkonQQb4L3atdqPPGSJCv8rgXWlSdahYcgDHKJ4&h=false&lat=35.550019509767445&lng=-96.7562946411133&z=13&t=3&l=col4&y=2&tmplt=2\" frameborder=\"no\" scrolling=\"no\" width=\"620\" height=\"415\"><\/iframe><\/p><p><strong>Did you feel it?
