“Pipeline Explosion, Fire Reported In Pittsburg County”

UPDATE: A natural gas pipeline operated by Enable Midstream Partners ruptured Tuesday south of Kiowa in southeast Oklahoma. The pipeline was shut down, and there’s no word yet on what caused the explosion. The pipeline was originally identified as belonging to Enogex.

Enogex spokesperson Sandra Longcrier said no one was injured when the 6 to 12-inch pipeline caught fire …

Longcrier said they don’t have any indication what caused the pipeline to rupture. She says the resulting fire burned a nearby hay barn and hay field.
