“Okla. Governor Suspending Grand River Task Force”

Gov. Mary Fallin’s announcement of the creation of the task force in July sparked concerns about the privatization of the Grand River Dam Authority. One month later, the task force is no more.

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) – Gov. Mary Fallin is suspending a task force she created to study the Grand River Dam Authority. Fallin announced the action Tuesday and said it was necessary to prevent possible negative impact to GRDA’s future bond ratings.
