“Clean Coal Ready to Burn”

New York-based Clean Coal Technologies says it has a way to process coal into a less polluting fuel, and operations at a pilot plant in eastern Oklahoma could begin within weeks.

… Clean Coal Technologies obtained clearance from the Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality in July to operate its test plant at AES Shady Point, a coal-fired utility plant in LeFlore County. Site preparation has started and construction of the pilot plant is moving forward as scheduled, company officials said last month.
