Which Works Better in Classrooms: Laptops or Tablets

More and more schools are investing in technology for their students. And for many districts, the top choice was Apple’s iPad. But as The Atlantic reports, more schools are leaning towards getting rid of tablets, and plan to invest in different devices, namely laptops.

For an entire school year Hillsborough, New Jersey, educators undertook an experiment, asking: Is the iPad really the best device for interactive learning? It’s a question that has been on many minds since 2010, when Apple released the iPad and schools began experimenting with it.
