Screen Time Study Finds Education Drop-Off

Kids are spending lots of time in front of computers, TVs, cell phones, and other electronic devices– more time than ever, in fact. A new study finds that 8- to 10-year-olds are spending far less time with educational activities compared to younger children.

With children spending more time in front of screens than ever, parents sometimes try to convince themselves that playing Angry Birds teaches physics, or that assembling outfits on a shopping app like Polyvore fires creativity.
