Ohio’s House Education Committee Wants to Change Teacher Evaluation Systems

Committee members are proposing a pretty intensive rewrite on a previous teacher evaluation system bill that the senate passed last year, the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports. This bill is not expected to be voted on until May.

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Teachers could be fired after two years of low student improvement under a new proposal that already has the backing of the education committee of the Ohio House of Representatives.
