Week Ahead: New Ohio School Report Cards May Move Forward

Monday: The Ohio’s Executive Workforce Board holds its first meeting and presumably gets to work advising Gov. John Kasich “on the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of Ohio’s entire workforce system.”

Tuesday-Wednesday: Hearings and then possible vote in House Education Committee on school report cards and other aspects of HB 555.

What We’re Working On

We’ll be looking at what happens when charter schools close and (separately) when schools spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on iPads that may or may not suit their intended purpose.
