Week Ahead: 30 Gallons of Gravy

This was last year's National Thanksgiving Turkey.

Tuesday: Cleveland school board decides how the district will be evaluated under the district’s new turnaround plan. The board also talks about union contract negotiations.

Wednesday: The Indiana Supreme Court hears arguments in a suit claiming the state’s school voucher program unconstitutionally uses public money to support religion. The case comes 10 years after the U.S. Supreme Court said Ohio’s first school voucher program was constitutional.

Thursday: Ohio State University will hold a Thanksgiving dinner for 2,000 people at the Ohio Union. The university expects 650 pounds of turkey, 30 gallons of gravy, 432 pounds each of green beans and corn, 320 pounds of corn bread and 2,000 slices of pie to be served.
