Early Results in Ohio Suggest Labor Will Win on Issue 2

Early results from less than 10 of Ohio’s 88 counties suggest that Issue 2, a referendum on a law that would significantly weaken Ohio’s public employee unions, is headed for repeal.

Of the 125,000 votes counted thus far, 67 percent were in favor of repealing Senate Bill 5.

The early results echo polls showing most Ohio voters support repealing SB 5.

Counties reporting early results and absentee ballots include Cuyahoga, Lake, Lorain and Montgomery.
