September<\/p><\/div>\n<p>The worst might be over in terms of New Hampshire&#8217;s foreclosure rate&#8230;but that doesn&#8217;t mean things will be truly <em>good <\/em>in the near future.\u00a0 NHPR&#8217;s Jon Greenberg <a title=\"Home Foreclosure Trends Improving\" href=\"http:\/\/www.nhpr.org\/home-foreclosure-trends-improving\" target=\"_blank\">looked into the September numbers released by the New Hampshire Housing Finance Authority<\/a>, and reports:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;About 300 owners lost their homes in September.\u00a0 That\u2019s 8% less than a year ago.\u00a0 Until now, New Hampshire Housing has been reluctant to forecast how the year will end up.\u00a0 But with just three months left, it now expects to see about 3600 in 2011.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s close to the total in 2008.\u00a0 However, in normal times, the state might see just 500 foreclosures a year.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>You can see the Housing Finance Authority&#8217;s report <a
