As StateImpact has reported, <a title=\"How Do States Get FEMA Disaster Relief Money After Irene?\" href=\"http:\/\/stateimpact.npr.org\/new-hampshire\/2011\/08\/31\/how-do-states-get-fema-disaster-relief-money-after-irene\/\" target=\"_blank\">public assistance, for things like roads<\/a>, is different from individual assistance for damaged houses.<br \/>\n<!--more--><br \/>\nCounties that are eligible for public FEMA assistance include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Coos<\/li>\n<li>Carroll<\/li>\n<li>Grafton<\/li>\n<li>Merrimack<\/li>\n<li>Strafford<\/li>\n<li>Sullivan<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Meanwhile, at this point, only residents of two counties can apply for help repairing property damage:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Carroll<\/li>\n<li>Grafton<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Residents of those counties who want to file for individual FEMA aid can call 1-800-621-FEMA or go to <a title=\"Locate And Apply For Disaster Relief\" href=\"http:\/\/www.disasterassistance.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\">www.DisasterAssistance.gov<\/a>.\u00a0 Small businesses that were damaged can also call the FEMA number or go to<a title=\"Welcome to the SBA Electronic Loan Application\" href=\"https:\/\/disasterloan.sba.gov\/ela\/login.aspx\" target=\"_blank\"> https:\/\/disasterloan.sba.gov\/ela\/<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The feds have set up a disaster recovery center in Conway at Mount Washington Technology Village to answer questions.\u00a0 There are also centers with rotating hours at Campton, Woodstock, Plymouth, Canaan, and Lebanon.\u00a0 You can find a full schedule for these centers <a title=\" Communities in Strafford, Sullivan Counties Eligible for Federal Aid to Repair Public Infrastructure\" href=\"http:\/\/www.governor.nh.gov\/media\/news\/2011\/090912-federal-aid.htm\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>And you can find out how states apply for public FEMA assistance <a title=\"How Do States Get FEMA Disaster Relief Money After Irene?\" href=\"http:\/\/stateimpact.npr.org\/new-hampshire\/2011\/08\/31\/how-do-states-get-fema-disaster-relief-money-after-irene\/\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Governor John Lynch announced today that two more counties have been added to the Presidential Disaster Declaration, making them eligible for Irene-related FEMA aid.
