The Hassan campaign has three socials down, six to go, scooping a total of about 1000 scoops of ice cream to about 450 people. That adds up to about $1,665 of ice cream, two-thirds of which will be paid for by Puritan Ice Cream in Manchester.<\/p>\n<p>Let\u2019s hope nobody on Hassan\u2019s staff is lactose-intolerant.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>While Hassan is putting all her money on the persuasive powers of ice-cream, the other candidates are betting on other strategies, too. Ovide LaMontagne is focusing on family-friendly events at farms and libraries, Kevin Smith is hopping from restaurant to restaurant with a series of \u201cmeet and greets,\u201d while Jackie Cilley seems to prefer to campaign out-of-doors, with lots of picnics, cook-outs, and a Latino festival.
