As analysts parse the implications of the Supreme Court's ruling, businesses consider whether they'll be helped or harmed by the new health care law.<\/p><\/div>\n

Nobody seems to agree on what the Affordable Care Act<\/a> means for businesses, which is probably why business organizations like the state\u2019s Business and Industry Association<\/a> and Small Business Administration<\/a> office haven’t commented publicly on the ruling.<\/p>\n

The Affordable Care Act requires businesses with more than 50 employees to provide health insurance, or pay penalties.\u00a0 Meanwhile, smaller businesses can receive a tax credit to offset the cost.<\/p>\n

In Manchester at Dyn<\/a> \u2013 an internet infrastructure company with about 150 employees \u2013 Vice President Gray Chynoweth says he doesn\u2019t expect the ruling will affect his company right away. \u00a0He says Dyn already provides generous health benefits.<\/p>\n\nhttps:\/\/stateimpact.npr.org\/new-hampshire\/files\/2012\/06\/nht062812ec.mp3<\/a><\/audio>\n

\u201cHowever, we\u2019re excited about the fact that long-term, we\u2019ll be getting rid of free riders in the system. The reduction of those number of people in the system, means that our overall health care costs will go down.\u201d<\/p>\n
