As Rick Santorum makes campaign stops in Idaho, two of the Gem State’s top Republican lawmakers stump for Mitt Romney<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Sen. Jim Risch and Governor Butch Otter say the presidential race comes down to straightening out the economy<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“He knows and he understands job creation,” Risch says.\u00a0 “What the government’s role is in that, what the government can and can’t do, and I’m very, very comfortable with that.” <\/p>\n

Two new polls<\/a> show frontrunners Romney and Santorum are virtually tied.<\/p>\n

Santorum is speaking at a Coeur d’Alene resort right now and will be at Capital High in Boise tonight at 7 pm.<\/p>\n
