It&#8217;s also in the process of purchasing a bankrupt <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/2012-08-21\/elpida-to-get-280-billion-yen-in-support-from-micron-asahi-says.html\" target=\"_blank\">Japanese chip-maker<\/a>, a move intended to strengthen its manufacturing capacity.<\/p>\n<p>Durcan is expected to address key trends in the tech sector and explain how Micron plans to maintain its spot in the industry.<\/p>\n<p>The luncheon takes place <del><\/del>Tuesday, August 28 at 11:45 a.m. at The Grove Hotel in Boise.\u00a0 The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cityclubofboise.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">reservation deadline<\/a> is Friday, August 24 by noon.<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Micron Technology CEO Mark Durcan is scheduled to speak at next week&#8217;s City Club of Boise luncheon.
