Rick Scott has already interviewed finalists<\/a> for the six positions he will fill. The BOG will choose five members, and a student and faculty representative will complete the board.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The committee will send its recommendations to the full Board of Governors, which will probably take them up at a special meeting later this month.<\/p>\n<p>Anyone interested in the BOG&#8217;s candidate interviews Wednesday can listen in. The interviews start at noon. The dial-in number is 888-670-3525, and the conference code is 4122150353#.<\/p>\n<p>Another BOG committee has been working with the University of South Florida to make sure Polytechnic has a <a href=\"http:\/\/stateimpact.npr.org\/florida\/2012\/05\/25\/usf-polytechnic-starts-transition-into-standalone-university\/\">smooth transition into a standalone university<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Until a few months ago, it was a branch campus of USF.
