Jeb Bush&#39;s Miami office in this 2003 photo.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Hernando County&#8217;s school board <a href=\"http:\/\/stateimpact.npr.org\/florida\/argolinkroundups\/roll-call-the-new-college-student-more-fcat-opposition-teachers-losing-bonus-pay\/\">could take up a resolution Tuesday evening <\/a>asking Gov. Rick Scott and state leaders put less emphasis on the <a href=\"http:\/\/stateimpact.npr.org\/florida\/tag\/fcat\/\">Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Palm Beach and Broward county school boards have already approved a similar resolution. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gainesville.com\/article\/20120604\/ARTICLES\/120609822?tc=ar\">Alachua<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.boarddocs.com\/fla\/flcsd\/Board.nsf\/Public\">Flagler <\/a>and <a href=\"http:\/\/stateimpact.npr.org\/florida\/argolinkroundups\/roll-call-the-new-college-student-more-fcat-opposition-teachers-losing-bonus-pay\/\">Pinellas<\/a> boards are weighing the measure.<\/p>\n<p>The resolution is based on <a href=\"http:\/\/parentsacrossamerica.org\/2012\/04\/national-resolution-against-high-stakes-testing\/\">one authored by Parents Across America<\/a>, a group that opposes so-called high stakes testing the privatization of public education.
