Tune in this morning.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>State economists are counting the contents of Florida&#8217;s piggy bank this morning to see <a href=\"http:\/\/www.miamiherald.com\/2011\/10\/11\/2448271\/state-economists-to-revise-fla.html\">how much money<\/a> the state will have for its budget beginning July 1.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier this year it looked like Florida might have a very small surplus. Estimates<a href=\"http:\/\/stateimpact.npr.org\/florida\/jp\/florida-faces-1-2-billion-education-shortfall-the-florida-current\/\"> last week <\/a>suggested the state economy has slowed and lawmakers could now face a $2 billion shortfall.<\/p>\n<p>If revenues fail to meet expectations, school budgets may need to be cut &#8212; again &#8212; next year.
