From teacher pay to charter school funding laws,\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">you can ask Florida lawmakers what their education priorities will be during the upcoming legislative session.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.eventbrite.com\/event\/5197379502\">RSVP to join WLRN and <em>The Miami Herald<\/em> <\/a>on Monday, Feb.\u00a025th\u00a0at 6:30pm\u00a0for the live, free event at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts in Fort Lauderdale.<\/p>\n<p>Guests include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flsenate.gov\/Senators\/s31\" data-mce-=\"\">Sen. Chris Smith<\/a>\u00a0(D-Fort Lauderdale), Senate Democratic leader<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flsenate.gov\/Senators\/s20\" data-mce-=\"\">Sen. Jack\u00a0Latvala<\/a>\u00a0(R-Clearwater), chairman of the Senate Ethics and Elections Committee<!--more--><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/miamiherald.typepad.com\/nakedpolitics\/about.html\" data-mce-=\"\">Mary Ellen\u00a0Klas<\/a>, Tallahassee bureau chief for The Miami Herald.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>WLRN\u00a0Radio\u2019s senior anchor\/reporter and host of The Florida Roundup,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.wlrn.org\/people\/phil-latzman\">Phil\u00a0Latzman<\/a>, will moderate.<\/p>\n<p>The conversation will be broadcast on\u00a0WLRN\u00a091.3 and stations across the state.<\/p>\n<p>In advance of the town hall, WLRN will be holding online conversations with state policy experts and journalists.
