Kennedy Middle school<\/em>.\u00a0<em>During the summer school program with Breakthrough Miami, she attends The Cushman S<em>chool campus.<\/em><\/em><strong>By\u00a0Joshua Partridge, 11<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Dear future teacher,<\/p>\n<p>In order to be a good teacher, I think you should do hands-on activities.<\/p>\n<p>You should always be reasonable.<\/p>\n<p>You should make a good first impression to the students to make them like your class.<\/p>\n<p>If a student doesn\u2019t understand, I believe you should pull them aside and teach them.<\/p>\n<p>You should be fun and never uptight.<\/p>\n<p>You shouldn\u2019t give a lot of homework, but if you do, you should make it fun.<\/p>\n<p>I believe that if we\u2019re reading part of a book for homework, the next day you should probably act it out.<\/p>\n<p>I think you should always understand the student, or at least listen to them and try to understand.<\/p>\n<p>You should at all times be patient.<\/p>\n<p>Always be fair to your class.<\/p>\n<p>For me, I\u2019m a visual person and need to see things.<\/p>\n<p>Maybe you should write everything out for your students.<\/p>\n<p>The students might have ideas that you can use, so you should listen to them.<\/p>\n<p>If you don\u2019t have an understanding with your students, the class just won\u2019t work.<\/p>\n<p>Your rules need to be reasonable.<\/p>\n<p>Never, never, never not have rules, they are extremely important.<\/p>\n<p>Be sure to enforce your rules.<\/p>\n<p>You should try to entertain your students, that\u2019ll keep the class fun and not boring.<\/p>\n<p>Sincerely,<\/p>\n<p>Joshua Partridge<\/p>\n<p><em>Partide is a student at Doctors Charter School<\/em>.\u00a0<em>During the summer school program with Breakthrough Miami, he attends The Cushman School\u00a0<em>campus.<\/em><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>All month we\u2019ll hear from students about life in Florida schools.
