The winner gets a &#8220;gift card to the restaurant or store of choice.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>A copy of the email was passed along to us, and a couple of StateImpact Florida <a href=\"http:\/\/stateimpact.npr.org\/florida\/2012\/07\/25\/judge-says-california-parents-cant-unpull-trigger-petition\/\">posts<\/a> with references to the <a href=\"http:\/\/stateimpact.npr.org\/florida\/2012\/07\/26\/report-says-alec-has-growing-influence-in-florida-education-policy\/\">parent trigger<\/a> were on their recommended commenting list.<\/p>\n<p>The parent trigger was <a href=\"http:\/\/stateimpact.npr.org\/florida\/2012\/03\/13\/wrapping-up-education-bills-in-the-2012-florida-legislative-session\/\">narrowly defeated<\/a> during the legislative session earlier this year and allies, such as former Gov. Jeb Bush, <a href=\"http:\/\/stateimpact.npr.org\/florida\/2012\/06\/11\/a-qa-with-former-florida-gov-jeb-bush\/\">vow that the bill will be back<\/a>.
