State Board of Education May Choose New Commissioner Today

The State Board of Education may skip a national search to find a new education commissioner and instead choose two-time interim commissioner Pam Stewart for the job. The board is meeting this morning in Palm Beach County.

The state board that oversees education is expected to vote Tuesday to hire interim commissioner Pam Stewart for the job instead of launching a national search.
